Hi Meghan, After seeing you tell the world about yourself on national TV, I made me reflect greatly on my own life. For the last couple of months I have been very depressed, somehow forgetting my own triumphs in life. About 12 yrs ago I was in a serious car accident and was told I would not walk again. Long story short, within 2 yrs I was back playing softball (something I've always loved). Somehow in my own misery, I've neglected to see how far I, myself have came in life. That is until today, when I watched you on Montel. I wanted to thank you from the very depths of heart for bringing me back to reality and making me see just how much I was taking for granted. And that life its self is so very precious because of people like you that take something as simple as a song and open up so many cold hearts that have burden themselves down with so many little things in life that we lose the great picture... You have truly inspired me!! A tears came to my eyes when you first came out on the show today. My daughter has Williams and you have opened my eyes and shown me that my daughter will be just as normal as me!!! It's truly just a lable with some medical problems. My daughter loves to sing and play the guitar with her daddy. She is three years old and I have said the day we left the hospital with our special child that we were going to treat her like she is healthy and not a lable. Because you have grandparents and others that treat her like there is something wrong but, I think we should give her the ability to be independent as possible when she is older also.
