It was a matter of minutes that i saw your website address and logged on and to see the over whelming response, you are truly special. But you don't need us to tell you that, you are very confident and very proud, you know that you are unique! Mom and dad's are wonderful people, I hope I can be as encouring to my children as your parents have been to you. I am going to by your cd and I will tell everyone I know about you. I recently was pregnant, at 5 months and my babies heart stopped beating, I delivered him and kissed him goodbye. CommentsHey, I was just watching the Montel show and saw you on it and thought that you were great. I wish I could play songs on the piano or my guitar just from hearing them on the radio. You have an awesome talent and you're really lucky =) I have a guitar but I haven't been able to play it much because I've been through a lot this past year. It is so wonderful that she can take something that can be very negative and turn it into something so positive. I, too, suffer from an uncommon disease and I felt a connection to Meghan. I sometimes let the negative aspects of my disease get me down. I visited Meghan's website to learn more about her as a person and how she has made such a positive experience out of her disease. I have an 11 year old son that we are still trying to find the "right" diagnoses for. Right now they are leaning towards Asperger's Autism. CommentsHi Meghan, I think you are wonderful. My Godson has Williams, he is five years old. There are no other people in this area with it besides him so it was a blessing to see you on Montel. You could easily pass for his sister. It has been difficult for his Mom because she has had no one to help guide her and tell her what to expect so she could get the best for Nathan, her son. Growing up my mother has had MS and has had it for 27 years. She found out she had it right after I was born, I was about 6 months old. Unfortantly she took a turn for the worse when I was about 3 or 4 and ever since my grandmother has been taking care of her and she also raised me as well as my father could not handle what had happened to her and left. People like yourself are a great gift in this world. When I was in high school I worked with children who had down syndrome and it was wonderful to me being able to do that because there full of so much joy and life. I hope one day that they will find a cure for all these bad things and am so happy you and your mom educate others. Always keep that wonderful smile, your chin up and God will Bless you. I wish you the best of luck with your Music career and hope that you will find everything you want out of your life. I attend Cleveland Community College and learning sign language so I can use it in our church. I don't like math, yucky...I do enjoy reading and my life is filled with music. CommentsDear Meghan, wow, I see alot of people have signed already after the "Montel" show!! I can tell that if we were friends, we'd get along so great. You are lucky to have such a gift of music. When you sang "Amazing Grace" it was just beautiful. You seems so happy-go-lucky -- and you are making the made the most of your life, which cannot be said for most people. I wish I had your energy! I just LOVED how when Montel went on commercial break, that you said "we'll be right back" or something like that long with him. The doctors didn't know if I'd live to do much of anything. They told my parents I might be a "vegetable". I tease people and say, "I'm the best looking ear of corn anyone ever saw!" :-)I went to college and got a degree in Special Education. I had just found out the previous year that my little girl, Madison, had Williams Syndrome. I fell in love with so many of the adults and you were definitely my favorite! You are a sweet, beautiful girl and I can only pray that my daughter will turn out to be as sweet and lovely as you are!
